Who processes your data?

Which data, and what for?

  • Your order: name, delivery and billing addresses, e-mail, telephone, contents of the order. These data are used to prepare, ship, invoice and follow up your order (performance of the sales contract).
  • Your customer account: identity, e-mail, password (stored in encrypted form, unreadable to us), addresses, order history.
  • The newsletter: your e-mail, only if you have subscribed. Every mailing contains an unsubscribe link.
  • Invoices: kept to meet our accounting obligations.

We ask only for the information we need. We neither sell nor rent your data.

Who has access to them?

Éditions Cassini, and the service providers that are essential to the order, each for its own part:

  • OVH (Roubaix, France), which hosts the website and our e-mail;
  • La Poste – Colissimo, which receives the recipient's name, address, e-mail and telephone number in order to deliver the parcel;
  • Systempay, our bank's payment platform, which processes the card payment. We never receive your card number.

Your data are hosted in France and are not transferred outside the European Union by us.

For how long?

  • Customer account and history: as long as the account is active, then three years after the last order or login;
  • Invoices and accounting documents: ten years;
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can view and correct your information at any time in your customer account. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to the processing of and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at cassini@cassini.fr or by post; we reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies that are essential for it to work: they remember your basket, your login to your account and your language. There is no audience measurement, no advertising, no social-network tracker, and no cookie is set by a third party. That is why no consent banner is shown.

You can delete these cookies in your browser settings; your basket and your login will then be forgotten.
